Whilst waiting for the first of my army of dinosaurs

to dry I've been distracted by making paper cranes. My uncle bought me a
book on origami when I was little and I've been having a go on and off
ever since.
I've found it's a brilliant way of
entertaining small children on buses. It worked well with my two when
they were younger but they're not so impressed with all things paper
now.

A
friend told me that Sweden and Denmark people knit, sew and do all
sorts on public transport, including buses. I think about that when I'm
make paper cranes in and amongst all of the other people reading books
and on their phones. When I make a 1,000 I turn them into a picture and
once I have 12 pictures I plan on Photoshopping them all into one
picture. It's another long term goal for Paper Reloved. The dragon is one of the pictures I've finished already. It's been difficult thinking
up things you can make with paper cranes. I keep working out more ideas
and then finding out that it's already been done!
Every time I do a new project I research a lot around that. I've been learning a lot about eastern culture and symbology.
